The craftsmanship used in hand knotted rugs sets them apart.  Made entirely by hand on a vertical loom, hand knotting is an ancient practice and requires extreme precision, skill, and patience. Rugs made in this way are often considered to be heirloom quality, and they are typically made with 100% wool for both beauty and durability.

Hand tufted rugs are made by pushing strands of yarn through a backing canvas. This technique results in a thick, plush rug, making them ideal for high-traffic areas. Typically these rugs are made from wool or a similar fiber.

Handwoven rugs are made using a loom by interweaving the warp and weft thread and are commonly made from cotton and wool. This blend of fibers gives the finished rug a soft-touch finish.

Often made of wool, cotton, or jute, hand-loomed rugs use a manual or automated loom to weave their pattern.

For larger-sized items, we also offer a White-Glove service, which includes delivery, assembly and removal of packaging for $195.
